An ATV crash Sunday near Fyffe, Ala., killed a DeKalb County 17-year-old, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA spokesman Trooper Curtis Summerville said in a statement issued Monday that the teen was riding an ATV on County Road 18, about two miles north of Geraldine when the vehicle left the road a struck a tree about 4:3o p.m. CDT. The teen, who was not named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is continuing, Summerville said.
