The Riverbend Festival's lineup is normally packed with a wide array of different genres, offering headliners spanning many different eras. This year is a great example, with classic country's Hank Williams Jr., '90s rock bands The Wallflowers and Third Eye Blind, and hip-hop's Flo Rida making the lineup. With many other touring and local bands also filling the stages along the riverfront, the festival really has a little bit of something for everyone.
One thing the festival has also proven to provide over the past few years is a handful of rising country stars, and this year, two such artists will be performing on the same night.

Beginning her career in country music as a songwriter for other artists, Cam (born Camaron Marvel Ochs) jumped into the limelight herself with her debut album in 2010. Born and raised in California, her music mixes in elements of pop but with just the right amount of twang for country music radio. She started turning heads in 2015 after releasing both an EP and a full album, and her song "Burning House" earned her recognition across the country music scene.
With new singles being released over the past few months, hopes of a new album are high, and Riverbend is the perfect opportunity to catch Cam before she climbs to the top of the country charts.

Born in Asheville, North Carolina, and dabbling in music since an early age, Luke Combs got his start in country music while attending Appalachian State University in nearby Boone, North Carolina. Still in his late 20s, Combs is one of several young country artists who are quickly making their mark on the country music scene.
His music straddles the fence - it is welcomed by the more pop-influenced country radio format of today but still somewhat edgy enough for outlaw country music fans, very similar to Eric Church and Jason Aldean. With three EPs under his belt, Combs signed with Columbia Nashville and released his debut album, "This One's for You," in 2017.
