Boyd will serve all District 8 citizens
While often criticized when doing the right thing, Tim Boyd works hard for the people of District 8 and all of Hamilton County.
Whether it is asking questions about the annual budget or causing the CVB to be more open and transparent about how its money is spent, Commissioner Boyd keeps the regular taxpayers, the regular folks like you and me, in mind.
I have known Tim Boyd for over 40 years. I know about Tim's work in our community like helping to get East Ridge High School a new football stadium and helping with new band uniforms and instruments. I know Tim as a husband, father, grandfather and friend, and I know Tim as a solid businessman.
Tim's passion to serve all the folks of District 8 is clear, regardless of class or color. His accessibility by concerned citizens is unmatched.
I encourage everyone to vote for Tim during early voting and the May 1 primary. All folks of District 8 will be grateful to have Tim Boyd representing us for another four years.

White is 'loyal, kind, trustworthy'
I am writing on behalf of Catherine "Cate" White in support of her campaign for Circuit Court judge. Catherine White has, as a member of the Hamilton County Republican Women, been active in ideas and principles that better promote local and national government that affects citizens' everyday lives.
I have known Catherine White since I began tutoring her son, Shiloh, several years ago. I have found her to be kind, caring, loyal and trustworthy.
In the Hamilton County Herald, reporter David Lapard stated, "Since the bar planted the seed of interest in the law in White almost 40 years ago, the branches of her career have grown tall and wide to provide a restful place to which her clients can come to resolve their problems. Her mediation practice can even provide shade from the heat of discord."
Lapard's statement attests to the fact that Catherine White is an outstanding attorney who possesses the intelligence and judicial temperament necessary for the position, and I agree.

Hedrick likes Tide but is best for job
I urge all Chattanoogans to join me in supporting Judge Kyle Hedrick for Circuit Court judge of Hamilton County. When I was in law school, looking for a job here, Kyle was the first attorney that I met. He interviewed me for a job at his firm. Unfortunately, I did not get the job.
Kyle is dedicated and devoted to his incredible wife, Brenda, and his three adult children.
Kyle and Brenda, and their wonderful family, have been a part of my life for more than 30 years. They were part of our Sunday school class. Our kids attended school together at Boyd-Buchanan.
Kyle has all the qualities that make him an excellent choice for judge. He has a faith-based compassion for others. He has the work ethic that comes with his background. He has a sharp legal mind that has been honed by almost three decades of practicing law. There is no individual more qualified.
The only problem I have with Judge Hedrick is that he is an avid Alabama football fan. But even that shortcoming will not deter me from voting for him as Circuit Court judge.
And that speaks volumes.
