John Bradford Jones Jr., 72, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith. John served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at TVA for 24 years and was a truck driver for 10 years. John was an artist that enjoyed painting, woodworking and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Margaret Jo and Joe E. Smith; father, John Bradford Jones Sr.; brothers, Timmy Smith and Joe Smith Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clarence and Carrah Arnold and son-in-law, James Kountz. Survivors are his wife, Sandra Jones; daughters, Kristy Kountz, Kandi Jones and Kelly Farmer (Brian Phillips); brother, Charles Jones; sisters, Maggie Tarvin (Robert), Jo Ellen Gionfriddo, Patsy Mullins (Keith) Diane Jones and Arlene Jones; brothers-in-law, Lewis Arnold and Leslie Arnold (Kathy); sister-in-law, Sarah Nelson (Cliff) and Barbara Manning; grandchildren, Gordan Farmer, Zack Farmer and Beck Phillips (Cheyenne); great-grandchild, Kamdyn Phillips and Brantley Brown and several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at National Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
