Chattanooga FC falls 3-2 at New Orleans

The Chattanooga Football Club lost 3-2 to the New Orleans Jesters on Saturday night in the last of a string of five road games.

CFC (4-1-3), which went 3-1-1 in those games, will be home to face the Atlanta Silverbacks at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

New Orleans (5-3-1) moved into first place in the National Premier Soccer League Southeast Conference with Saturday's win with 16 points, one ahead of CFC. Atlanta (4-2-2), which played Greenville Soccer Club on Saturday night, was third with 14 points.

CFC played a man down for much of the match after a first-half red card was issued, and the visitors trailed 2-0 at halftime. They rallied, evening the score on goals by Santiago Moore and Felipe Oliveira early in the second half, but three minutes after Oliveira's goal the Jesters' Oliver Roberts - who scored the first goal - had a free kick that was directed in the net by Tony Judice for the go-ahead goal.
